Upon completing Retorno’s programs, many of our alumni transition to Refresh – an English-speaking sober living facility for recovering addicts. As an extension or follow-up to residential rehab, a sober living facility helps you transition to long-term, sustainable recovery.
In Refresh, you will find structure and support to keep you moving towards long-term recovery.
Who can benefit?
Men between the ages of 17 and 50 who are on the road to rehabilitation. If you are clean, and looking for more than just an outpatient program but less than an inpatient commitment, Refresh may be your program. Many of the residents at Refresh, but not all, are alumni of Retorno’s residential program or other residential rehab programs.
At Refresh – support for sober living for recovering addicts
Refresh – a sober living facility for recovering addicts is located in Beit Shemesh. Living in the facility for a period of three to six months you can expect to find a holistic array of support services including group therapy, one-on-one therapy sessions with addiction specialists, and twelve step groups. While not under the direct supervision of Retorno, Refresh is run by Retorno-trained staff. It’s just a short distance from Retorno’s campus, where you will be able to take advantage of therapeutic horseback riding and animal assisted therapy.
Residents have access to a modern gym, tiyulim (group outings), full room and board (three meals a day), and support for successful re-entry to the community. Finding a balance between structure (scheduled activities), safety (supervision), and access to normal community activities – Refresh works to make your re-entry to the community easier and more successful. Refresh is not a lockdown setting. It is a friendly, homelike, community environment.
