Rabbi Eitan Eckstein, CEO
Rabbi Eitan Eckstein is the founder and CEO of Retorno and one of the world’s most foremost experts on addiction. A social worker and horseback riding instructor, Rabbi Eckstein brings 25 years of experience in the treatment of addictions. With his warmth and deep understanding of people, Rabbi Eckstein is the heart and soul of Retorno’s many projects. Rabbi Eckstein is the author of It’s Your Move.

Emeritus Chairman of the Board
Professor Shlomo Eckstein is Chairman of the Board of Directors at Retorno.
He was President of Bar Ilan University between 1992-1996, and is a Professor of Economics at Bar-Ilan University.
Professor Eckstein holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University. In addition to his academic work, and his work at Retorno, he has been a member of the Board of Directors for: Prisoner’s Rehabilitation Center; Board of Governors, The Jewish Agency for Israel; Interregional Network on Privatization, United Nations Development Program (UNDP); United Mizrachi Bank, Israel Chemicals, Ltd.; Council for Higher Education; National Council for Research and Development; Executive Committee for the Introduction of Nuclear Power into Israel, Chair of Economic Appraisal Subcommittee; Negev Phosphates, Ltd.; Dead Sea Works, Ltd. He has served as Presidential Consultant to the Presidents of Mexico and Peru and U.N. Committees.
Isaac Zollman, Administrative Director
Isaac Zollman is the Administrative Director of Retorno. He served for 25 years in the IDF, reaching the rank of lieutenant colonel. He founded, together with Rabbi Eitan Eckstein, Retorno’s center for addictions first in Mexico and then in Israel. Izik has a B.A. in general history from the University of Tel Aviv.
Meir Ben Ytzchak, PhD
Head of the Retorno’s International Projects
in Latin America, Spain and Portugal
Dr. Ben Yitzchak earned his Ph.D. in Education at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and an MBA from the University of Leicester. He has had additional training at Tel Aviv University.
