Edward Bach was a practicing physician in England in the early 1900s. Over the years, it became increasingly apparent to him that the emotional state played a huge role in physical illness. He explored homeopathy and found it lacking. Conducting his own research, he successfully isolated 38 different natural substances that address chronic and acute mental states. With a discriminating eye, found that different substances work best to combat different types of fears: those relating to people, stage fright, closed spaces, extreme terror (principally at night), and relating to other people. Current research supports the efficacy of the Bach flower remedies.
The Bach remedies provided at Retorno are individually prepared mixtures created by Taly Gilad, who has been practicing holistic therapies for over 20 years. She combines holistic massages supported by aromatic oils together with reflexology, healing and Su Jok. The remedies upgrade the treatment level, balancing the extreme parts of the personality and elevating awareness to all those “issues” that beg to be resolved.
