Since 2010, Yuri Fedotov has been serving as the Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) at the rank of Under-Secretary-General. His responsibilities include bringing awareness and change to the UN regarding drug addiction among youth. Mr. Fedotov met with Rabbi Eitan Eckstein on a visit to Retorno, where they discussed Retorno’s unique holistic model for the prevention and treatment of addiction. He was so impressed with Retorno’s unique treatment model that he invited Rabbi Eitan Eckstein to present this model in Vienna, where Mr. Fedotov is Director-General of the UN Office at Vienna UNOV.
